Digital Asset NOC

The Digital Asset NOC monitors node health, validator performance, RPC latency and integration status continuously, and manages incidents, problems and changes under ITIL practice.

Node, validator, RPC and integration health, 24/7/365

ITIL-based incident, problem and change management

Availability held to the published standard in the client's service agreement

From telemetry to restoration

Node, validator, RPC and integration health are managed under one ITIL-based process, measured against published targets.

Digital Asset NOC operating flowFive steps from left to right: telemetry from nodes, validators and RPC endpoints, health monitoring against published targets, triage by a NOC operator, incident management to restoration, and approved change with a rollback position. Every incident, problem and change is recorded with named owners.TelemetryNode and RPC dataHealth monitorPublished targetsNOC operatorTriages eventsIncidentITIL restorationChangeRollback readyEvidence storeIncidents, problems, changes and availability, timestamped with named owners

Targets

Network operations are held to the targets set out in the client's service agreement.

What is monitored

Node, validator, RPC and integration health are monitored across nine public blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and Base, and permissioned networks such as Hyperledger Fabric, Corda and Canton, covering sync status, peer health, latency and finality.

Incident, problem and change management

ITIL-based incident, problem and change management, with a named owner for every service and a documented escalation path.

Incident

ITIL incident management to restoration.

Problem

Root cause and prevention.

Change

Approved change with a rollback position.

Handover into the operations center

No system enters the build schedule without a named operations owner, so monitoring, escalation and change requirements are set before code is written.

Production cutover is supported around the clock, and the service is transferred into the Digital Asset NOC with runbooks and contact chains in place.

Part of the Run practice

The Digital Asset NOC holds availability to a published standard, with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
